Summit Power Taps Chris Brookhouse to Lead International Operations

Seattle, WA - The Summit Power Group, a leading developer of low-carbon electric power projects, today announced the appointment of Chris J. Brookhouse as vice president of international development. Based in London, U.K., Chris will head the company’s efforts to develop large, clean-energy projects from Europe to the Middle East and Asia. The appointment comes on the heels of Summit’s series B funding round, demonstrating the company’s commitment to expanding its international presence.

Chris brings more than 20 years of energy-industry expertise to Summit Power. His experience includes senior management positions at Texaco, BG Group, Invensys, CEO of Harvest Energy Limited, and most recently managing director at Blue Ocean Associates. During his various roles, Chris has successfully developed and financed in excess of $2 billion in power and technology-based projects in Europe and Asia. Chris also has significant experience across the energy value chain, ranging from commercial upstream to the retail sector, with valuable experience in biofuels manufacturing, trading and marketing. He earned advanced degrees in economics and operational research from the University of Birmingham, U.K.
