Finance:  Summit’s world-class financing team has the knowledge, experience and contacts necessary to tailor unique finance solutions for energy development projects. Summit specializes in complex debt and tax-equity project financing, including the $200 million tax equity and tax exempt financing we engineered for the White Creek Wind Project in Washington State.   Summit is currently finalizing bridge and permanent debt and equity financing for our $2 billion Texas Clean Energy Project (which includes a $350 million Clean Coal Power grant from the US Department of Energy).

Asset Management:  Summit Power Group currently manages two wind energy facilities totally 132 turbine-generators rated at 304MW. The management scope includes complete financial and operational oversight plus reporting to ownership groups and ten public utility energy purchasers. While site O&M service is performed by Summit-contracted third parties, Summit performs audit-ready accounting, cash management, tax, insurance and other administration tasks internally. Existing asset management contracts are for a nominal ten years with extension options. Asset management provides a significant internal G&A expense offset plus supports future development relationships with investors and energy purchasers. Summit is working toward building asset management services into a true business line over the next five years.
