Solar

Summit’s PV solar power development business was conducted primarily in partnership with the REC Group, a leading vertically integrated solar technology manufacturer. Summit and REC participated in a joint venture – NorthLight Power, LLC (NLP), which developed and financed reliable, low cost, utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) generation projects. NLP’s North Star Solar I project entered into a 60 MW PPA with Pacific Gas and Electric and began construction in 2014. Summit developed several other smaller (<10 MW) primarily located in the desert southwest.
