REC Systems and Summit Power have joined forces to develop utility scale solar systems in the western United States. REC Systems’ solar technology and experience combined with Summit Power’s extensive development record – in total 6,000 MW of traditional and renewable energy technology installed – give us powerful capabilities in responding to the needs of utilities as they go solar.
Our urban-infill strategy is tailored to enable utilities to add high performance solar capacity at a low cost, in an efficient manner, and causing minimum of environmental harm. Innovative financing solutions are leveraged to make solar affordable for U.S. utilities. We currently have a significant pipeline of projects proposed or under development, thereby helping speed deployment of PV solar on a large and economic scale.
